After having given Amy directions in the previous runs, I
suggest that she do a “reset run”. In a reset run you don’t worry about the
previous directions. You just see what shows up. It allows all of the
directions in play to interact. This in turn simulates the unexpected and new
qualities come into the work. It’s good to do reset runs on a regular basis
once you’ve started to work with directions.
I follow the reset run with more direction. By alternating
directions and the occasional reset run, Amy is able to move ever deeper into
the world of the character.
